Evernote (http://evernote.com) is a mobile app developed for note taking, organising, task lists, and archiving.

The Evernote app allows users to create notes, which can be formatted text, web pages, photographs, voice memos, or handwritten notes.

Notes can also have file attachments.

Notes can be sorted into notebooks, tagged, annotated, edited, given comments, searched, and exported.

Evernote can be used iOS, Android, Microsoft Windows and macOS.

Evernote is free to use with monthly usage limits, and offers paid plans for expanded or lifted limits.

Evernote has the facility for image capture from cameras on supported devices, and the recording of voice notes. Text that appears in captured images can be recognised using OCR. Evernote has web-clipping plugins and are available for the Internet browsers that allows marked sections of webpages to be captured and clipped to Evernote. Also Evernote can clip the full page.

Evernote supports the ability to e-mail notes from your client straight into Evernote to the service, allowing for automated note entry via e-mail rules or filters. Plus with OCR captures a business card an e-mail to the address on the card and a link request toothier LinkedIn account

Evernote can automatically add geolocation tags to notes.

Evernote Pro integrates directly with Google Drive, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Slack, and Evernote Pro adds an integration with Salesforce. All versions of Evernote also support integrations through IFTTT and Zapier.[36]
